This board was R&D'd by many of our surfers, from Moana at Pipeline, Balaram at Teahupoo, to Kobi and Saxon competing on the Australian regional WQS. It was the board these surfers gravitated too when the waves got a bit too big for their regular shortboard.
The FAD3R is to be ridden slightly up from your shortboard in volume and length. If you normally ride a 29L shortboard, the stock 6'1 " FAD3R at 30.5L will be the go. As we know, larger waves demand respect and the right equipment to handle their power and speed. Surfing a bigger-volumed surfboard helps you rise to the challenge
with greater confidence, efficiency and control.
