SharpEye Surfboards - Perth

Founded by Brazilian-born shaper Marcio Zouvi, SharpEye has grown from a small shaping operation into one of the most recognisable performance brands in modern surfing, with boards ridden by some of the world’s best competitive surfers. Zouvi was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and began shaping in the late 1980s, influenced by Californian designers including Rusty Preisendorfer, Linden and Al Merrick. He founded SharpEye in 1992. The brand’s reputation accelerated as its boards found their way under elite surfers, particularly Filipe Toledo. SharpEye remains unapologetically performance-focused, with a range designed around speed, control and responsiveness.
